A magnificent, compact, densely branching succulent with compact rosettes of spoon-shaped leaves, found exclusively on dry Lanzarote in the Canary Islands, where it is rather rare.
Sowing: Growing aeonium from seeds is relatively easy. Prepare a mix of potting soil and coir or sand and sprinkle the seeds on the top. Do not cover with seeds with soil, or cover lightly with sand or vermiculite as light is needed for the seeds to germinate. Water and cover the container with a plastic bag and keep at temperature of 22-25 °C The seeds will germinate within two to three weeks. Once the seedlings are strong enough, they can be potted on.
Tip: The perfect place to grow aeonium is in a bright place but away from direct sunlight.
