Antirrhinum is one of most preferred and favourite summer bedding flowers. This semi tall variety in various vibrant colours will make any border or container look just stunning. In maturity is will grow up to 40 cm so is suitable both for the front of the border and as a colourful gap filler. Will also make a lovely cut flower.

Sowing: Start snapdragon seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost in cool temperature. Sprinkle on top of the potting mix, press down lightly but do not cover with soil as the seeds need light to germinate. Snapdragon seeds are slow to germinate so allow between 14 and 30 days. Once the seedlings are large enough to transplant, pot on. Plant outside in flowering position once all danger of frost has passed.

Flowers: July to September/October

Tip: Sow/plant in curves or in large groups for a stunning display.
