The packaging of this product is 100% compostable and environmentally friendly, so once you have finished using it, it can be added to the compost heap of buried somewhere in the garden where it will fully decompose, so nothing goes to landfill.

Growing Helipterum seeds is an easy and rewarding experience. This lovely annual mix will produce blooms with yellow centres and papery petals in shades of white, rose, red. Helipterum flowers are excellent for cutting and drying. Also called Paper Daisy or Everlasting Flower, this variety will produce giant upright flowers with a maximum height of 50 cm.

Sowing: The seeds can be started indoors 6 weeks before the end of the frost season. Press the flower seeds into the soil (do not cover) and keep them moist. When the seedlings are large enough to handle, they can be transplanted into larger pots for continued growing. Harden the seedlings for 10 – 14 days, and transplant them outdoors in late spring once frost danger has passed .
