Preparation: Soak the seeds in tepid water for about three-four days, change the water after the first day.

Sowing: Sow the seeds in sowing compost with coir, vermiculite or sand. Sow the seeds around 1 cm deep in the growing medium and place them in either a propagator or cover with a plastic bag to maintain temperature and humidity. Once small shoots appear, move the seedling into good compost mixed with sand or vermiculite.

Required temperature to germinate: Daytime 22-25⁰C/Night 15-20⁰C

Germination time: 2-8 weeks

Tip: Custard Apple seeds have very hard shell, so gentle scarification with nail clippers or sandpaper will aid germination.
