Sowing: Growing Angelica from seed is extremely easy. Place the seeds on the surface of well-drained, fine compost and do not cover as the seeds need light to germinate. Keep moist and the seeds should germinate between 7 and 14 days. Once the first true leaves have developed, pot on the seedlings in larger containers.

Tip: Angelica seeds can be sown in early autumn as the young plants will overwinter well. The plant will reach its full size in the second year of growing.
