Sweet Alyssum is a carpet forming plant covered with tiny white flowers, great for landscaping, rockeries and hanging over walls.  In maturity it will reach height of 25 cm making it suitable for containers and baskets, too. Favourite with butterflies and bees.

Sowing: Alyssum is very easy to grow. Sow the seeds from early spring to early summer in potting compost under cover and keep moist. The seedlings will appear between 7 to 14 days. Plant out in flowering position in clusters once all danger of frost has passed. In areas with milder climate, the seeds can be sown in autumn for an earlier bloom the following spring.
