Custard apple (Annona squamosa) is a genus of Annona native of the tropical Americas and West Indies. In warmer climates it will grow up to 10 m height and will produce spherical to conical fruit with a thick rind composed of knobby segments. As a tropical plant, Custard Apple will need protection from freezing in colder climates.

Prosopis cineraria, commonly known as the Ghaf or Khejri, is a drought-tolerant flowering tree. It is highly valued for its ability to survive extreme desert conditions and for its wide range of uses, earning it names like “the Wonder Tree” and “King of Desert”. It produces small, creamy-yellow flowers that bloom in cylindrical spikes. These flowers appear during the spring and sometimes a second time in autumn, and they have a distinct sweet, earthy smell.
This is a large deciduous flowering shrub or a small tree, which will develop lovely glossy foliage and edible fruit known as jujube or Chinese date. The shrub is frost tolerant, so it will grow well in colder climate as long as it is positioned in a sunny and sheltered area of the garden.
