Prosopis cineraria, commonly known as the Ghaf or Khejri, is a drought-tolerant flowering tree. It is highly valued for its ability to survive extreme desert conditions and for its wide range of uses, earning it names like “the Wonder Tree” and “King of Desert”. It produces small, creamy-yellow flowers that bloom in cylindrical spikes. These flowers appear during the spring and sometimes a second time in autumn, and they have a distinct sweet, earthy smell.
The White Guava tree is a delightful, exotic, tropical tree which will produce lovely leathery leaves, pretty flowers, and sweet guava fruit. It’s a must for the tropical garden.
