Aegle Marmelos, also known as bael tree or Bengal quince, is a deciduous shrub or small to medium-sized tree, tall with slender drooping branches and rather open, irregular crown. In maturity it will produce large fruits described as tasting of marmalade and smelling of roses. The fruit is rich in vitamin C and other vitamins and minerals and has a wide range of culinary as well as medicinal uses.
The packaging of this product is 100% compostable and environmentally friendly, so once you have finished using it, it can be added to the compost heap of buried somewhere in the garden where it will fully decompose, so nothing goes to landfill.
