English Poppy is a delightful free flowering annual in lovely colours, suitable for the border, containers, etc. It looks stunning among other summer flowers and will look great in a bunch of cut flowers. In maturity will reach height of 70 cm. This is one of the most popular summer bedding flowers.

Sowing: Poppies are very easy to grow and are best sown outdoors directly into flowering position in spring. Prepare a bed with fine soil, scatter the seeds and rake in lightly. Keep moist and the seeds will germinate within 7 to 14 days. Alternatively, the seeds can be sown in pots in early spring and planted out or grown in containers when all danger of frost has passed.
