A popular ornamental grass with bronze green solid bristles on long stems and straight green foliage. In maturity it will grow up to height of 140 cm, which will make it look great in the middle and even at the back of the border and will also make a great filler among summer flowers. Will make a great cut flower as an addition to fresh or dried bouquets.

 Sowing: In early spring scatter the seeds  on the surface of seed trays and cover with a thin layer of soil. Keep moist and warm and the seedlings should appear within 7 to 10 days. Transplant once the seedlings are large enough to handle and plant out when all danger of frost has passed.

  Flowers: June to September/October

Tip: Grasses benefit from nitrogen rich feed, which makes them more vigorous and lush.
