Mongolian Sunflower is a yellow sunflower with a large single bloom and is the tallest sunflower that can be grown reaching height of up to 3.5 m. Growing this sunflower will give every gardener a real sense of satisfaction once the plant reaches its maximum height. Great for growing with kids, too.

 Sowing:  Sunflowers are easy to grow and the seeds can be sown directly into a well prepared bed where they are to flower. They will do well in any well-drained soil in full sun. Sow direct only when the soil is warm enough and all danger from frost has passed. Alternatively, they can be grown inside in containers and then planted out. Sow the seeds using fine seed compost and pot on once the seedlings are large enough and have developed true leaves. Germination can take between 6 to 14 days at temperature from 18°C to 25°C.
