The packaging of this product is fully compostable, so once you have finished with it, it can be added to the compost heap, so nothing goes to landfill.

An attractive, fast-growing, evergreen with beautiful foliage and even more beautiful, striking flowers. In colder climates it can be grown as a shrub and even as a house plant.

Sowing: Silky oak is relatively easy to grow from seed. Soak the seeds in cold water for around 24 hours prior to sowing. Sow the seeds in good compost. Keep the growing medium moist but do not overwater. Place in a shady but warm location. Seedlings should appear in around 2 to 4 weeks. Once the seedlings are strong enough, they can be potted on.

Tip: The Grevillea tree will look great in a Mediterranean style garden.
