Moss Rose, a member of the succulent family, is a tough, low-growing plant that will bloom in lovely single flowered blooms in various, beautiful colours. It is easy to care for as it will tolerate almost all growing conditions. The flowers will attract butterflies and bees to your garden

Sowing: The seeds can be started indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the end of the frost season. They should be sprinkled on the surface of moist compost as they need light to germinate.  When the seedlings are large enough to handle, they can be transplanted into larger containers. Plant out once all danger of frost has passed. Alternatively, they can be sown out in late spring direct in flowering position.

Flowers: June to  October

Tip: Use as a colourful ground cover for containers or the front of the border.
