This trendy ornamental grass brings an airy look to the front of a border or a container with its green flower heads fanning out like fireworks. It’s a half-hardy annual that is easy to grow from seed. It also makes an excellent cut flower and dries very well.

Sowing In early spring scatter the seeds on the surface of seed trays and cover with a thin layer of soil. Keep moist and warm and the seedlings should appear within 7 to 10 days. Transplant once the seedlings are large enough to handle and plant out when all danger of frost has passed.
