Torenia Fournieri F2 Mixed is a low growing annual with flowers that resemble smiling faces. It can be grown as houseplant but will also look attractive in hanging baskets, containers and as bedding and border plant. The flowers will also attract butterflies and bees to your garden. It will reach height of up to 20 cm.

Sowing: Torenia seeds are relatively easy to grow but slow to germinate so they should be sown indoors around 8 to 10 weeks before the last frost date. Sow the seeds on the surface of good compost, do not cover with soil as the seeds need light to germinate. They will also need warm temperature to germinate. Once all danger of frost has passed, transplant in flowering position. When planted outside, the plants will thrive in full sun.

Flowers: June/July to October/November                                                                        

Tip: Deadhead regularly for continuous bloom.
