Phoenix Acaulis, also known as the Dwarf Date Palm, is an interesting species from the Date Palm family. It has no formed trunk, just lots of spikes coming from the base. For this reason, it is also called “trunkless” palm. Great for growing both indoors and outdoors.
Musa Velutina is a dwarf variety that can grow up to 70 cm tall with large leaves. A relative of the banana plant, it will produce yellow orange flowers and pink fruits. It is an indoor or greenhouse perennial, frost will damage he leaves. Suitable for large containers and borders in milder climate.
