A beautiful annual climber that can reach height of up to 2 m and will produce a lovely colourful display of bell shaped flowers with a deep calyx and a maroon tubular flower and smoothly textured foliage. The plants can be grown both in containers or in the ground. You will need to provide good support like trellis or an arch, etc. Great for fences and pergolas, and particularly good for hanging baskets.

Sowing: Sow the seeds in early spring in potting mix and lightly cover with soil, sand or vermiculite. The seeds will germinate within 2 weeks at temperature of around 18°C  to 22°C. Transplant as necessary.

Height: Up to 200 cm

Flowers: (June-July to October)

Tip:  Plant together with other climbing varieties on the same support or container for a splash of colour.
